From Portland and points north (estimated travel time from Portland Airport is three hours, allowing for traffic and rest stops):

Take I-5 south to Hwy 34-Corvallis Exit. Turn right at the end of the off-ramp and continue west about 12 miles to Corvalis. Approaching Corvallis, follow signs for Hwy 34, "beaches" and "Reser Stadium", (left hand turn lane at a stop light), which will put you on the loop road around downtown.

[If you will be camping at the farm, Corvallis is you last chance to stock up on food and goodies before your arrival. The First Alternative Coop is at 1007 SE 3rd St. (Take the 99W south exit from Hwy 34 and you will see the store immediately on your left.)]

From Corvallis, continue on Hwy 34/20 west to Philomath. At the west end of Philomath, turn left, following Hwy 34 towards Alsea. Continue to Alsea, about 19 miles.

[If you will be going directly to hotels in waldport, continue west through Alsea on Hwy 24. It is 39 miles to waldport.]


To the farm, continued:In Alsea, turn left, immediately past the post office onto Alsea-Deadwood Hwy. Go 10 miles, up and over two small ridges, until you come to a Y in the road by an old mill pond. Bear to your right, onto Lobster Valley Road, following the sign to "Five R". The farm is 7 miles down this road, on the left, immediately past mile post 7. The address is: 14942 Lobster Valley Road; there will be signs out directing where to park when you arrive.


From Eugene and points south (estimated travel time two hours):

Take Hwy 99 north to Junction City. At the north end of Junction City (by the Safeway store on your left), turn left on Hwy 99W. Go 13 miles to the town of Monroe. Continue through Monroe. Approximately 1/4 mile north of the town, turn left on Alpine Cut-off Road, following signs to Alsea Falls. Go approximately 1/2 mile and turn left at T onto Alpine Road. Go through the small town of Alpine and continue west, bearing left at the Y on the west side of Alpine, following signs to Alsea Falls. Go approximately 17 miles, up and over the coast range, passing Alsea Falls. Stay on the only paved road until you come to a T in the middle of the wide, grassy Alsea Valley. Turn left onto Alsea-Deadwood Hwy. Go 10 miles, up and over two small ridges, until you come to a Y in the road by an old mill pond. Bear to your right, onto Lobster Valley Road, following the sign to "Five R". The farm is 7 miles down this road, on the left, immediately past mile post 7. The address is: 14942 Lobster Valley Road; there will be signs out directing where to park when you arrive.


From Waldport and points on the coast (estimated travel time 40 minutes):

Take Hwy 34 east towards Alsea. Immediately past milepost 20, turn right following the sign to Five Rivers and taking a bridge over the Alsea River. Go approximately 3 miles and turn left onto Lobster Valley Road, immediately before a second bridge. Go about 5 miles. House numbers are marked on the road, the farm is on the right: 14942 Lobster Valley Road. If you cross another cement bridge you've gone too far.
